Briefs from a media plan
Start from a completed media plan: objective, budget direction, audience, placement, and creative context.
Give the XerAds Meta Business partner access to your ad account and Facebook Page. There is no Meta app to create and no login to hand over. XerAds support assigns the account to your workspace, campaigns are built from your media plan and created paused, and Xera reports on them directly. Activating a campaign or changing its budget waits for your approval.

You give the XerAds Meta Business partner access to your ad account in Meta Business Settings. XerAds support assigns the account to your workspace and approves the Facebook Page your ads run as. From then on XerAds works through a System User in its own Business, and every request is checked against the ad accounts assigned to you.
Start from a completed media plan: objective, budget direction, audience, placement, and creative context.
You share your ad account and Page with the XerAds Business in Meta Business Settings. No Meta app, App Secret, or login changes hands.
Everything XerAds creates in your account starts paused, and nothing is ever deleted from Meta.
In an agency workspace, shared ad accounts are assigned to the agency administrator, shown as the Agency PIC. The PIC runs the campaigns behind the briefs agency staff submit. Staff stay brief-only: they cannot reach the ad accounts, the campaign controls, or Xera’s Meta tools. Each workspace only ever reaches the accounts assigned to it.
Every request is checked against the accounts assigned to that workspace, so one client’s account is never reachable from another’s.
Agency staff can prepare briefs and see their own reports, without access to ad accounts or campaign controls.
Remove the XerAds partner access in Meta Business Settings at any time, and XerAds loses access straight away.
Campaign and insight snapshots are read from your assigned ad accounts, and Xera can look up campaigns, ad sets, ads, and their results for date ranges of up to 93 days. Pausing runs straight away. Activating something or changing a budget is held on an approval card that shows the exact change, and runs only after you approve it.
Campaign and insight snapshots from Meta Ads appear in the dashboard after a sync.
Xera can pause a campaign, ad set, or ad right away. Pausing stops spend, and switching it back on goes through your approval.
Activation and budget changes wait on the approval card, and a single change can at most double a budget.
A completed media plan sets the campaign direction. You share your ad account with the XerAds Business once, campaigns are built paused from the brief, and performance is read back from your account.

Prepare the objective, budget direction, audience, placement, and creative context in XerAds.
In Meta Business Settings, assign the XerAds Business as a partner on your ad account, allowed to manage campaigns and view performance, and share the Facebook Page (and Instagram account) your ads run as.
Send your ad account ID to XerAds support. Once it is assigned to your workspace, your briefs and Xera can build campaigns in it, created paused.
Switch campaigns on yourself or approve Xera’s request, then follow brief progress, campaign state, and the snapshots synced from your account.
No. For Meta Ads you give the XerAds Meta Business partner access to your ad account in Meta Business Settings. You never create a Meta app, share an App Secret, or sign in with Facebook Login inside XerAds.
Partner access to your ad account, allowed to manage campaigns and view performance, plus access to the Facebook Page (and Instagram account) your ads run as. The XerAds Meta app uses ads_read and ads_management through a System User in the XerAds Business, and business_management to list the accounts shared with it.
No. Agency staff can submit briefs and view their own reports. The Agency PIC runs campaigns on the ad accounts assigned to the agency.
Remove the XerAds partner access in Meta Business Settings at any time: XerAds loses access straight away, and the account shows as Access lost in your workspace. To have XerAds delete the Meta ads data it stored, send a request as described on our data deletion page.
No. Campaigns are created paused. Xera can read results and pause directly, but activating anything or changing a budget waits on an approval card that shows the exact change, and runs only after you approve it. Nothing is ever deleted from Meta.
Create a workspace, complete a media plan, give the XerAds Meta Business partner access, and launch Meta Ads campaigns once you approve them.
