Data Deletion Instructions

How to remove XerAds' access to your Google and Meta accounts, and what XerAds deletes afterwards.

Google data

How to remove XerAds' access to your Google account and Google Ads accounts, and what XerAds deletes afterwards.

Data we store

  • Your name and email address from Sign in with Google. No Google token is kept.
  • For each linked Google Ads account: its customer ID, name, currency and time zone, a copy of its campaign settings, Google's review results for your ads, its performance metrics and the alerts based on them, and the audit record of changes made through XerAds.
  • For a connection made through your own Google Cloud project: its refresh token, encrypted. When you disconnect, XerAds asks Google to revoke the token and deletes its own copy. If Google rejects the token, XerAds deletes it 30 days later together with its copy of the account's data.

Steps

  1. In XerAds, open Google Ads > Management (the Ads Management page) and choose "Brief and setup". Find the Google Ads account and choose "Remove from XerAds". XerAds stops managing the account straight away and ends its manager link in Google Ads. For a connection made through your own Google Cloud project, choose "Disconnect" under Connected ad accounts instead.

  2. Or, in Google Ads, open Admin > Access and security > Managers and end the link with XerAds.

  3. To remove the access you gave when signing in with Google or using "Connect with Google", open https://myaccount.google.com/connections, choose XerAds and remove its access.

  4. 30 days after the link ends, XerAds automatically deletes its copy of that account's data. It keeps the account's customer ID and name and the audit record of changes made through XerAds, without email addresses.

Manual request

To delete your whole XerAds account, email privacy@xerads.id from your registered address with the subject "Google Data Deletion Request". We verify the request and complete it within 30 days, unless the account has a record the law requires us to keep, such as the history of credits bought and used in it. Deleting such an account can take longer, and we tell you when it is done.

Meta data (Facebook and Instagram)

If you connected a Facebook Page, an Instagram business account or a Meta ad account to XerAds, this is how to remove XerAds' access and what XerAds deletes. XerAds also handles the data deletion requests Meta sends on your behalf.

Data we store

  • The app-scoped Facebook user ID behind your connection, and its access tokens, encrypted.
  • The names, usernames, identifiers and profile picture links of the Facebook Pages, Instagram business accounts and ad accounts you connect.
  • A brand style profile XerAds builds from your Instagram business account.
  • Posts you create and publish through XerAds.

What we do not store

XerAds does not store your personal Facebook profile, private messages, friend lists, or information from accounts that are not business accounts.

Steps

  1. For a Meta ad account XerAds manages for you, remove XerAds' partner access to it in Meta Business Settings, or email us to stop the service. For a Meta ad account you connected with your own Meta app, open the Ads Management page in XerAds (Google Ads > Management in the menu), choose "Brief and setup" and then "Disconnect" under Connected ad accounts; XerAds deletes the stored tokens straight away.

  2. For Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts, open Settings & privacy > Settings > Apps and websites (or Business integrations) in Facebook, remove XerAds and, when Meta offers it, send XerAds a data deletion request. Meta passes the request to XerAds, which deletes the connection straight away.

  3. Or email privacy@xerads.id as described below.

After deletion

  • Disconnecting a Meta connection in XerAds deletes its stored tokens at once.
  • A deletion request from Meta deletes your Facebook Page and Instagram connections, with their tokens, identifiers and the brand profile built from them.
  • A Meta ad account connection you made yourself stays as a business record of your campaigns, without your Facebook user ID or tokens, and XerAds can no longer use it.
  • Posts you created in XerAds stay in your workspace until you delete them or your account.
  • Meta shows you a confirmation code for each deletion request; quote it if you contact us.

Manual request

If you cannot use these controls, email privacy@xerads.id from your registered address with the subject "Facebook Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Registration email
  • Connected Page or account names
